Surf Magazine Cover

I wrote an article (and was on the cover of a surf magazine) with some of my friends as part of a program called Intercession. It was essentially where students could choose a not explicitly academic field of study or topic and focus on it for a period of time. I believe it was two weeks right before spring break. Mine was, of course, surfing. I did it with some of my friends, and we wrote a magazine on surfing, surfboard design, the process of building a surfboard, surf culture, and a bunch of other things.
Looking back, in the moment, this felt very cool, and then I was quite embarrassed by it in high school. Now, looking back from further in the future, I can see that it was, in fact, very, very fun.
